Danny Walker is an actor, director, playwright, coach, and theatre devising artist based in Portland, Oregon.
Danny holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Southern Oregon Univeristy (‘15) and has been involved in over 40 theatrical productions all across the west coast. Theaters of note include Oregon Shakespeare Festival, The Actor’s Gang (LA), Hand2Mouth Theater and Imago Theater.
About
While based in Los Angeles from 2016-2021, Danny founded a theatre company, PACLA (Performing Arts Collective of LA) in which he produced and directed two plays: Turnings by Stephanie Neuerburg; and The Liar, Translated and adapted by Danny Walker and Mohan Kachgal from the classic by Pierre Corneille.
Current Happenings
Most recent work was in Hand2Mouth Theatre’s walkthrough immersive experience Home/Land (Processing Clerk) September ‘24. He is currently in Stumptown Stages’ production of It’s A Wonderful Life (Bert) December ‘24. Upcoming: back-to-back Imago Theater productions of A Streetcar Named Desire (Steve) January ‘25 and Oscar Wilde’s Salome (Ensemble) April ‘25.
Danny is always creating. Current independent works in progress are an indie monster film with puppets, a remounting of his first play, Ms. Beth, and finishing his play on themes of change, Wasted.
